EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is down 1 3/4 cents per bushel,
March soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 1 1/2 cents, March
Chicago wheat is down 1 1/4 cents, and MIAX March Minneapolis wheat is down
0.0200 cents.

CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Thursday, March corn closed up 5 1/2 cents, March
soybeans closed up 20 cents, and March KC wheat closed up 8 1/4 cents. A rising
tide lifts all boats -- that was the case on Thursday, as the soybean rally
extended and lifted corn and wheat with it. The corn basis was steady on
Thursday, while the soft red winter wheat, hard red winter wheat, and spring
wheat bases were stronger. The near 50-cent rally in soybeans indicates that
traders are confident about increased demand, but they remain unsure whether
this week's phone conversation between U.S. President Trump and China's Xi will
result in a soybean trade document. On Friday, traders will watch for any flash
export sales. After the close, the CFTC will release its Commitments of Traders
report, which will update trader positions as of Tuesday, February 3. Next
week, the USDA's Supply/Demand and WASDE Reports drop on Tuesday, February 10.

OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 592.58 at 48,908.72 and the S&P 500 down 84.32 at 6,798.40. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.21%. Early Friday, the March Dow Jones
Futures are up 153 points. European markets are higher, with the spot futures
of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.1%, spot futures of Germany's DAX are trading
up 0.71%, and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index are up 0.04%. Asian
markets are mixed, with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.81% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index down 0.25%.
